For procurements commenced after 26 February 2015, all contracts managed under the Open, Restricted, Competitive Dialogue, Competitive procedure with negotiation and Innovation partnership procedures must have a contract award notice published in the OJEU within 30 days of the contract award.
In addition for contracting authorities (excluding maintained schools and academies and contracting authorities in Wales and Northern Ireland) a contract award notice must be published on Contracts Finder within 90 calendar days of the contract award date but not before publication of the OJEU contract award notice.
A Framework Agreement must have a Contract Award Notice published in OJEU within 30 days of the framework being set up and on Contracts Finder in line with the requirements above. When a framework agreement is used a contract award notice must be published on Contracts Finder within 90 calendar days after the contract award date.
When a Dynamic Purchasing System is used a Contract Award Notice must be published in OJEU within 30 days of the contract award or these can be grouped and published on a quarterly basis, which must be sent within 30 days after the end of each quarter. In addition for contracting authorities (excluding maintained schools and academies and contracting authorities in Wales and Northern Ireland) a contract award notice must be published on Contracts Finder within 90 calendar days of the contract award date but not before publication of the OJEU contract award notice.
Services
Services are divided into two categories, those to which all the regulations apply and those categorised as ‘social and other specific services’ to which only a lighter touch regime applies at a higher threshold. However contract awards above the relevant threshold for both category services should be communicated to the Commission via a contract award notice published in the OJEU. In addition for contracting authorities (excluding maintained schools and academies and contracting authorities in Wales and Northern Ireland) a contract award notice must be published on Contracts Finder within 90 calendar days of the contract award date but not before publication of the OJEU contract award notice.
